Research Linux cluster
In July, 2003, a cluster of 24 IBM Linux machines with dual 2.8 GHz
processors and 2 GB of memory and a high-speed private network was
installed in the DCS research cluster.
The machines are named after US presidents and are now included in the
DCS research cluster profile.
To aid in Grid computing research, this cluster of machines is running
Sun Grid Engine.
